As part of the The Wheel's European Programme, we meet with community groups and local authority staff from all over the country.

Meet The Wheel in Dundalk, 24 October 2017
This two-hour interactive forum is an opportunity to learn about The Wheel's Regional Support Programme and also hear about Europe for Citizens.
Participants can a look forward to networking and renewing acquaintances with other community and voluntary organisations.

Meet The Wheel in Waterford, 7 November 2017

Special Application Workshop - Dublin (Civil Society)
This workshop is geared towards those interested in making an application under the Europe for Citizens programme in time for the 1 March 2018 deadline – Civil Society Projects. 
Participants can a look forward to aligning their project ideas to the current Work Programme and working on draft application forms

Event Facilitators

Deirdre Finlay is the European Programmes Coordinator at The Wheel. With over 12 years' experience of programme management, institutional funding (Irish Aid, EU) and communications, Deirdre has specific insights to share on grants available under the Europe for Citizens Programme. An experienced facilitator, she also provides training and technical advice on the preparation of proposals.

Emma Murtagh is the European Programme Officer at The Wheel. A skilled EU project manager, she is very knowledgeable on partnership management, budgeting and writing proposals, especially for Erasmus+.
